Consumers under pressure

The economic crisis in the Greek economy and society has changed dramatically the behavior of Greek consumers. Recent sectoral studies show that almost all consumers and households have changed the way we live and shop: a reduction in the number of visits to shops, markets shift in distribution channels that offer better value for money, reduce spending in several product categories, while substitution of branded products for private brand products, stricter planning personal and family expenses, including activities outside the home as long vacation, entertainment and dining.
